Scope of Practice

Saltwater Nursing Solutions Inc. provides services within the professional scope of practice of a Registered Nurse licensed with the Newfoundland and Labrador College of Nurses (NLCN). Services focus on nursing assessment, health education, wellness support, care coordination, advocacy, health system navigation, medication education, and support for individuals and families managing health concerns.

Saltwater Nursing Solutions Inc. does not provide medical diagnosis, prescribe medications, order diagnostic tests, or replace the role of a physician, nurse practitioner, home health agency or other primary healthcare provider. When concerns requiring further medical evaluation are identified, clients will be encouraged to follow up with the appropriate healthcare provider.

Carolyn Davies, RN, BScN, BA created Saltwater Nursing Solutions to provide compassionate, personalized nursing support for individuals and families throughout Newfoundland and Labrador. With a passion for helping people navigate the healthcare system with confidence, Carolyn provides professional guidance, advocacy, health education, and wellness support tailored to each client's unique needs.

With more than 17 years of diverse nursing experience spanning emergency, remote, community, and case management settings, Carolyn brings extensive clinical expertise, sound judgment, and compassionate care to every client interaction.

  • Registered Nurse licensed with the Newfoundland & Labrador College of Nurses (NLCN)

  • Current nursing registration in Newfoundland and Labrador, Ontario, and Manitoba

  • Basic Life Support (BLS)
