Initial Consultation

The consultation may include:

- Opportunity to ask questions and discuss expectations

Medical Appointment Support
Starting at $95/hour
Services may include:
- Accompanying clients to medical, specialist, and healthcare-related appointments
- Assistance preparing questions and concerns before appointments
- Organizing medical information, medications, and health history
- Helping clients understand medical terminology and treatment recommendations
- Taking notes during appointments for future reference
- Supporting communication between clients, families, and healthcare providers
- Advocating for client concerns, preferences, and goals of care
- Providing emotional support and reassurance throughout the process
- Helping clients and families navigate complex healthcare systems
Travel fees may apply outside the St. John’s area.
Medication Education & Support
Starting at $95/hour
Services may include:
- Comprehensive review of current medications
- Medication organization and medication schedule support
- Education regarding medication purpose and expected benefits
- Review of common side effects and potential concerns
- Guidance on proper medication administration
- Support understanding new prescriptions or medication changes
- Identification of questions to discuss with your healthcare provider or pharmacist
- Education regarding medication adherence and safety
- Assistance maintaining accurate medication lists
- Education and support for family members and caregivers
Nursing Visits & Wellness Checks
Starting at $95/hour
Services may include:
- Nursing wellness assessments including: Vital sign monitoring (blood pressure, heart rate, oxygen saturation, temperature)
- Review of current health concerns and symptoms
- Medication review and medication adherence support
- Assessment of mobility, safety, and overall functioning
- Monitoring for changes in health status or well-being
- Chronic disease support and education
- Health promotion and wellness coaching
- Assistance identifying concerns that may require follow-up care
- Communication and updates for family members (with client consent)
Post-hospital Discharge Support
Starting at $95/hour
Support may include:
- Meeting clients at home following discharge from hospital
- Accompanying a loved one home from the hospital when family members are unavailable due to work, travel, or scheduling conflicts (transportation arranged by family)
- Providing support and reassurance during the transition home
- Reviewing discharge instructions and ensuring they are clearly understood
- Medication review and education following discharge
- Monitoring for concerns or changes that may require medical attention
- Wellness checks and recovery support during the days following discharge
- Communication and updates for family members (with client consent)
- Education regarding recovery expectations, warning signs, and when to seek further care
After-Hours, Weekend & Short-Notice Support
Custom pricing available
Flexible nursing support may be available after hours, on weekends, or on short notice depending on availability. Services can be provided at your home, cabin, hotel, or another agreed-upon location.
Services may include:
- Support during caregiver absences
- Short-notice respite services when available
- Evening, overnight, weekend, and after-hours support (subject to availability)
- Companion support and wellness monitoring
- Medication reminders and medication support
- Assistance with mobility and safety monitoring
- Vital sign monitoring, as appropriate
- Communication and updates for family members (with client consent)
Payment Information
Payment is due at the time of service unless otherwise arranged. Accepted payment methods and invoicing details will be discussed during booking.
A non-refundable deposit may be required for certain on-site visits, appointment accompaniment services, after-hours bookings, or travel outside the St. John’s area. Deposits will be applied toward the total cost of service.
